About The Thread

The Thread was established in 2020 as a non-partisan, independent research organisation committed to shaping and informing discourse on key policy issues – economic justice and feminist economics, choice and participatory decision-making - through dialogue and consensus building.

The Thread evolved into a platform inspired by social protest movements, of people becoming memory through political acts of solidarity and amity that give material presence to the often abstract dynamics of policy work.
